Tusla launches new online portal for reporting child protection and welfare concerns

To support efficient, safe and secure making of reports of child protection and welfare concerns, Tusla (The Child and Family Agency) have launched an online web Portal ( for making reports of concern. This new portal currently allows Mandated Persons to register and report a concern online.

Launch of Review of current practices in the use of wardship for adults in Ireland: The National Safeguarding Committee has called for the urgent commencement of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015, as a new report it published on January 18th finds the 19th century Wards of Court regime to be inadequate and archaic.
