The National Federation of Voluntary Bodies contributes and responds to initiatives developed by the statutory authorities including Government, Health Service Executive, Health Services National Partnership Forum etc. and we represent intellectual disability services on an extensive range of advisory groups and national committees.

The National Federation also collaborates in research partnerships. Such partnership involves sharing expertise and knowledge and leads to a greater understanding of intellectual disability.
