Funded by the European Year of People with Disabilities (in conjunction with the National Disability Authority - NDA).

Through the model of Participatory Action and Learning, service users with an intellectual disability initiated this project through consultation with fellow service users, employers, staff members and a local video production team.  Discussion involved all service users.  The aim of the project was to produce a video, which interviewed participants with a learning disability/intellectual disability who are currently employed in the community, those in sheltered employment and employers in the community.  A partnership approach was employed.  A video was produced and was presented to potential employers and business people in the North Cork region.  (Video available)
