Background

The Quality, Standards and Innovation Sub Committee advises the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies on international best practice in the development of services.  It also advises on quality management systems appropriate to disability settings.  The Quality Sub-Committee was centrally involved in advising the National Federation on the National Quality Standards on Residential Services for People with Disabilities, developed by HIQA, which have recently been launched.
