Inclusive Research Network launches Report of their National Study - Report & Presentations now available

The Inclusive Research Network hosted a very successful launch on Tuesday 2nd March at the launch of the 2011 Study.  This study was entitled "Relationships & Supports Study: People with Intellectual Disabilities in Ireland".

The Inclusive Research Network is a group of people who come together to do research or talk about research that is about people with intellectual disabilities.  The Inclusive Research Network is a partnership between the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies and the National Institute for Intellectual Disability.

This network is for anyone interested in this type of research e.g., people from services, self-advocacy groups, organisations, researchers and community groups

The day was enhanced by some very informative and inspiring presentations from the day which are now available for downloading:

Launch of the Report - presented by Brian Donohoe from the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies,  Marie Wolfe from the Inclusive Research Brothers of Charity Galway & Ger Minogue from the Clare Inclusive Network Group.

"My Story" - Martin Dooher, Inclusive Research Brothers of Charity Galway.

"I'd like to choose who I dance with" - Inclusive Research Group, Brothers of Charity Roscommon.
